ERDA Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship honors Individuals who have exhibited remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and significant impact in advancing social and economic development through their ventures and initiatives. This award celebrates entrepreneurs who embody social responsibility, ethical leadership, and sustainable business practices, inspiring others with their passion, determination, and dedication to making a difference. These individuals serve as role models and catalysts for positive change within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This prestigious award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate outstanding leadership, vision, and a deep commitment to addressing critical social and economic challenges. They develop innovative solutions and build sustainable businesses that generate both financial returns and social impact. Through their dedication and drive, these visionary leaders inspire others to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations and contribute to a better world for future generations.

Selection Process: ERDA follows following steps to select the suitable candidates for ERDA Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship:

  • Application Submission: Candidates must apply for the award through ERDA website. Applicants are required to submit a brief description (maximum 500 words) about his/her entrepreneurship journey and its impact on the society which can justify his/her eligibility for this award. They may also upload their CV (it is not compulsory, but preferable).
  • Social Media Presence: Candidates are required to provide links to their profiles on social media and professional platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. This information may be helpful for the selection committee during evaluation.
  • Evaluation Process: The evaluation process consists of two stages:
    • Initial Review: Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted based on the CV and brief description.
    • Final Evaluation: Shortlisted applications will be forwarded to ERDA’s Non-executive Body. A committee within this body will conduct a detailed evaluation, including inquiries through various sources, to select the final award recipients. The decision of the committee is final.

Notification and Award Presentation: Once the selection is finalized, ERDA will notify the award recipients. The award includes a certificate and a trophy, which will be presented at an annual seminar, conference, or summit.
