ERDA’s Center for Promoting Education & Research in Humanities and Social Sciences (CPERHSS) has been established with the primary goal of advancing education and research within the realm of Humanities and Social Sciences. CPERHSS will be led by a Center President, and in the pursuit of its objectives, multiple Center Vice Presidents will be appointed. During the selection of Vice Presidents, careful consideration will be given to ensure that they represent diverse major areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. Specific objectives of CPERHSS are as follows:

• Organizing National and International Seminars/Conferences addressing emerging issues in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences.
• Conducting Workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Training Programs, ERDA Talent Search Exams (ETSE), and other similar activities.
• Overseeing the publication of ERDA’s Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences.
• Managing the publication of edited books, working papers, study materials, and more.
• Selecting deserving candidates for the ERDA Academic Excellence Award and the ERDA Young Academician Award in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences.
• Identifying eligible candidates for the Scholarship/ Fellowship. 
• Undertaking any other initiatives as determined by the Executive Body, with the aim of enhancing education and research in Humanities and Social Sciences.
