ERDA’s Center for Promoting Education & Research in Science and Technology (CPERST) has been established with the primary goal of advancing education and research within the realm of Science and Technology. CPERST will be led by a Center President, and in the pursuit of its objectives, multiple Center Vice Presidents will be appointed. During the selection of Vice Presidents, careful consideration will be given to ensure that they represent diverse major areas of Science and Technology. Specific objectives of CPERST are as follows:

  • Organizing National and International Seminars/Conferences addressing emerging issues in the field of Science and Technology.
  • Conducting Workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Training Programs, ERDA Talent Search Exams (ETSE), and other similar activities.
  • Overseeing the publication of ERDA’s Journal of Science and Technology.
  • Overseeing the publication of edited books, working papers, study materials, and similar publications.
  • Selecting suitable candidates for bestowing the ERDA Academic Excellence Award and the ERDA Young Academician Award in the field of Science and Technology.
  • Identifying eligible candidates for Scholarship/ Fellowship.
  • Undertaking any other activities as determined by the Executive Body periodically, all aimed at enhancing education and research within the realm of Science and Technology
