ERDA’s Centre for Promoting Education & Research in Science and Technology (CPERST) has been established with the primary objective of advancing education and research in the field of Science and Technology. CPERST is governed by a designated committee consisting of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Expert Members. Committee members are selected based on their significant academic and research experience in specific domains of Science and Technology. Specific objectives of CPERST are as follows:

• To organize National and International Seminars/Conferences addressing emerging issues in the field of Science and Technology.
• To conduct Workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Training Programs, ERDA Talent Search Exams (ETSE), and other similar activities.
• To oversee the publication of ERDA’s Journal of Science and Technology (proposed).
• To oversee the publication of edited books, working papers, study materials, and similar publications.
• To select suitable candidates for bestowing the ERDA Excellence Award Teaching and Research in the field of Science and Technology.
• To identify eligible candidates for Scholarship/ Fellowship.
• To undertake any other activities as determined by the Executive or Non-executive Body periodically, all aimed at enhancing education and research within the realm of Science and Technology
