UPCOMING EVENTS

At the Education, Research & Development Association (ERDA), we believe that meaningful solutions to societal challenges emerge through thoughtful deliberation and collaborative dialogue. Such discussions require bringing together diverse, intellectual, and vibrant individuals from various sectors of society. The ERDA Global Summit was conceived with this philosophy in mind. The purpose of the summit is to unite individuals from academia, industry, and the broader community on a shared platform to exchange ideas and perspectives on addressing the pressing challenges our society faces today. This year, the theme for the summit is “Empowering Society: The Role of Industry, Academia, and the Public in Building a Sustainable Future.” As the global conversation increasingly focuses on creating sustainable societies, it is crucial to identify actionable pathways to achieve this goal. The summit aims to pave the way for the sustainable development of society through in-depth deliberation among representatives from academia, industry, and the public at large. It offers a unique opportunity for every individual, regardless of their background, to voice their views and contribute to the conversation around solving societal issues. We recognize that the active participation of everyday people is essential to discovering real, actionable solutions. ERDA has designated this summit as an annual event, to be held each year in different locations around the globe.

The summit will not only focus on addressing societal challenges but will also celebrate individuals, institutions and organizations who have made remarkable contributions to societal transformation through education, innovation, and compassion by presenting them with the prestigious ERDA Excellence Award. Over 100 awards across various categories will be conferred upon members and non-members of ERDA.

Education Research & Development Association (ERDA) is dedicated to driving societal change through education, innovation, and compassion – an endeavor that would be impossible without the invaluable contributions of its various stakeholders. To express its gratitude, ERDA bestows the ERDA Excellence Award upon them in recognition of their contributions to society around the globe.

This award is more than just a trophy or certificate; it is an initiative to recognize the often-overlooked contributions of individuals and organizations. For ERDA, the significance of these contributions isn’t measured by their size or immediate impact but by the commitment to making a difference, no matter how small the contribution may seem.

The inspiration behind the ERDA Excellence Award comes from our visionary founder’s belief that society often fails to recognize the smaller contributions made by individuals and organizations. For him, excellence is not about achieving what others cannot, but about giving one’s best effort to any task, regardless of the outcome. He believed that recognition should not be reserved only for those at the pinnacle of success, as this overlooks the efforts of many who are working toward the betterment of society. By acknowledging even the smallest contributions, we can inspire a broader community to engage in meaningful work for the greater good.

The ERDA Excellence Awards are conferred upon individuals, academic institutions, and non-academic organizations to recognize excellence in teaching, research, quality education, leadership, academic performance, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
