Software Skills: Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, Advanced Design System (ADS), MATLAB, Latex, Origin Pro, Arduino, TinkerCAD, ThingSpeak.
PhD Thesis: “Frequency Selective Surface based Microwave Absorber and Rasorber”
Objective: Analysis, design, and development of miniaturized, dual polarized and wideband absorbers and absorbers with-in band transmission and notch characteristics
Applications: A class of absorbers which have an additional feature of transmission/reflection along with absorption can be used to reduce the RCS of an antenna. The absorber with a transmission band (rasorber) can be used as a radome for antennas, whereas the one with a reflection band (band notch absorber) can be used as the ground plane of antenna. One with transmission band is used as a superstrate and the one with reflection band is used as a substrate for antennas.
Contributions: A miniaturized and wideband absorber has been demonstrated, designed and published. Several absorber structures with a transmission band and reflection band have been designed. A miniaturized and highly miniaturized band notch absorber has been designed and demonstrated.
