This award is given to the Indian or Foreign College / Institute / University (which is institutional member of ERDA) for its outstanding contribution in the field of academia. Any institutional member which has earlier received any award from ERDA, will not be eligible for this award. Any institutional member can get only one award throughout its life. Selection of College / Institute / University will be based on the following parameters:

• Student’s Feedback
• Parent’s Feedback
• Alumni’s Feedback
• Percentage of placement of students during last five years 
• Students qualified NET/JRF or any other equivalent exams during last five years (not applicable for foreign institutions, they can provide any other equivalent achievements of their students) 
• Students qualified in various exams taken by the central and state government organisation like UPSC, State Public Service Commission, Bank, Railway, SSC etc. during last five years (not applicable for foreign institutions, they can provide any other equivalent achievement of their students) 
• Research papers published by the faculty members (index wise) during last five years 
• Patents obtained by the faculty members during last five years 
• Papers presented by the faculty members in National and International seminars/conferences during last two years 
• Faculty members acted as a resource person in various National and International Workshops / Seminars / Conferences / FDP / Other Training and Educational Programmes during last two years 
• Books authored by the faculty members during last five years
• FDP / Refresher Course / Workshop / Other Training Programme attended by the faculty members during last two years 
• FDP / Refresher Course / Workshop / Other Training Programme organised during last two years 
• National / International Seminars or Conferences organised during last five years 
• Any other achievement as an institution
